What Raijin Produces
As a proven sire, Raijin is known for passing on:
– Strong chin and profile
– Wide-set, expressive deep blue eyes
– Soft, full coats in seal and blue varieties
– Gentle but outgoing personalities
– Confidence and poise in new environments
His kittens often exhibit the signature “floppy” trait of the Ragdoll breed and are extremely people-oriented from the start. Whether placed as show prospects or beloved pets, Raijin’s offspring carry his charisma and class.
Personality & Presence
Raijin is more than a title-holder — he’s an absolute joy to live with. He’s assertive yet sweet, enjoys daily interaction, and has a natural curiosity that makes him both engaging and endearing.
He bonds quickly with people, plays well with children, and displays a steady calmness that makes him easy to handle. He’s often the first to greet visitors and doesn’t shy away from attention — in fact, he thrives on it.
His even temperament makes him the perfect match for queens who benefit from structure and emotional balance in their pairings.
As one of our premier studs, Raijin plays a pivotal role in our current and future breeding plans. We selectively pair him with queens that complement his lines, allowing his best traits to shine through in every litter.
Many of Raijin’s kittens may very well go on to show careers or become the cherished centerpieces of their forever homes. His legacy will continue to shape our program for generations.

Raijin is a true gift from Dekoel Smith, and I am endlessly grateful to have such an incredibly sweet and spectacular boy. I would also like to sincerely thank the judges who awarded Raijin “Best Cat” in their rings: Judge Barbara Ray, Judge David Nudelman (Ragdoll breeder), and especially Judge Alex Marinets (Ragdoll breeder and Ragdoll Breed Committee Member). Your recognition and thoughtful feedback mean the world to us.
Show Career & Titles
Raijin’s show career speaks for itself. He rose through the TICA ranks with impressive speed, earning multiple Best Cat awards and securing a Regional Winner title due to his balanced structure, symmetrical pattern, and effortless movement.
As a Supreme Grand Champion, Raijin embodies the highest level of accomplishment within TICA — a testament to his exceptional breed type, flawless presentation, and naturally composed show personality.
Judges consistently recognized him for his:
– Excellent body length and substantial boning
– Vivid, deep blue eyes
– Dense, easy-care coat
– Crisp, symmetrical mitted pattern
– Calm, confident temperament in the ring
Although Raijin will be stepping back from the show ring — aside from continuing to sire exceptional kittens — he won’t be retiring from public life. He is now certified as my partner in Animal-Assisted Interventions and will begin training to participate in Animal-Assisted Activities, Education, and Therapy.
